Direction. In the long ago era of explorers-- Magellan, Lewis and Clark, Raleigh, even our very own, Hudson-- all had one thing in a common. A wish to see and understand the world. They boarded a ship with an idea and went looking for it, pairing the risk of what they might lose with the beauty of what they might discover.  

It used to be that there was so little information about the world available to us that we needed a compass to find our way in the ever expanding world. Once one of our few reliable advancements, travelers put their faith in following this tool, believing it to be accurate and constant. Now we have so much information it's nearly impossible to navigate it all; hence,  Hudson Valley Compass-- redefining this classic instrument for the inquisitive traveler, providing direction toward the magnetic qualities of community, craft and conscious living.
